So far, most of the EPP symposia focused on psychopathology in adult life. However, we know that while people develop their behavior, cognition, emotions, and nervous system can change. Some of these developmental changes may provide insights into how psychopathology arises. During this symposium, expert speakers will deliver interesting presentations addressing both normal and pathological development, ranging from prenatal (e.g. stressors in uterus) development to pathological aging (e.g. dementia).
The topics will include experimental psychology, neuroscience, and clinical applications.
As a bonus, a developmentally inspired evening activity will be included as part of the entertainment program.
