We are pleased to invite you to EPP’s PhD Students Day, which traditionally is held the day before the annual EPP Day. During this special day, selected PhD students will present their work and receive feedback.
We also organize an interactive workshop for all PhD students. The topic of this year’s
workshop is handling failure. We chose this topic to help PhD students think about the
learning process, they are in – since success is generally built on failures it is helpful to
celebrate failure and stay happy about it, instead of bring oneself down. The workshop is offered by the communication and improvisation company Improsa, www.improsa.nl.
We want to allow as many as students as possible to participate in this workshop, however there is a limit to the number of participants; so it maybe possible that due to too many applications we’ll have to follow the principle of; first come first served …
The PhD Students Day also provides an excellent opportunity for meeting other EPP PhD students in a setting that is both professional and casual. The day is designed for interaction. Also after the PhD student presentations there is ample time for discussing results and their implications.
