Annual EPP Day, 27 March 2026
EPP Symposium 168

Psychophysiological measures provide a unique window into people“s feelings and thoughts and have thus proven to be invaluable in EPP research. For instance, in anxiety, physiological measures recently shed light on a dissociation between knowing what is (not) dangerous and feeling anxious. In this symposium, you will get hands-on experience in applying different physiological measures in a selection of workshops. Confirmed workshops include skin conductance, TMS, EEG/ERP, respiration, startle, and saliva cortisol. In addition, lectures of expert speakers will focus on the added value of physiological measures for EPP research.
